About the Position

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dedicated team in Blue Island, IL. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing essential assessments and therapy services to students enrolled in our Intensive Communications Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure effective support and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Illinois licensure as an SLP and Professional Educator License (PEL).
  • Experience working with students in special education settings, particularly those with communication disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
