Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure effective support and strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Illinois licensure as an SLP and Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Experience working with students in special education settings, particularly those with communication disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
