About the Role:

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems using cloud and big data technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Hadoop, Snowflake, and industry-leading ETL and reporting tools. They will work closely with management to understand and maintain focus on analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform data analysis using SQL queries and create data models on big data platforms like Hadoop and Snowflake
* Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytic systems, taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks
* Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets
* Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information model specification documents for data sets
* Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships

Candidate Requirements:

* 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related field
* Strong knowledge of Hadoop, Snowflake, and industry-leading ETL and reporting tools
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with management and users
