Schedule: 2nd Shift (4:00pm-2:30am)

Summary: As a Sandblaster, you will be responsible for cleaning tire mold components from our customers for repair. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces
  • Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment
  • Load and unload the blast cabinet
  • Assist with painting or coating as needed
  • Apply and remove non-skid materials as needed
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets company quality control guidelines
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with and/or removing heavy metals
  • Availability to work overtime, including weekends and evenings
  • Familiarity with power tools
  • Valid drivers license and transportation, or other arrangement
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
