Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

About the Role:

The Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for performing computerized Tomography procedures, including procedures of an invasive nature. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and be able to operate various pieces of specialized equipment. They will also be responsible for positioning and instructing patients, determining technical factors for exposure, and ensuring correct marking/labeling of all films.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform computerized Tomography procedures, including procedures of an invasive nature
• Position and instruct patients, operate various pieces of specialized equipment
• Determine technical factors for exposure, ensure correct marking/labeling of all films
• Consistently provide safe, quality patient care

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved AMA school of Radiology and be a registered ARRT
• Possess knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy
• Possession of two years diagnostic experience desirable
• Moderate to heavy physical effort required, must apply proper body mechanics to safely transport patients and equipment
