Position Overview

The Educational Alliance Inc. is on the lookout for a talented Ceramic Arts Educator to facilitate engaging learning experiences. The selected candidate will focus on imparting handbuilding and wheel throwing skills to a varied student demographic within mixed-level classes. This position emphasizes delivering exceptional educational experiences, catering to students with diverse abilities, and nurturing a supportive and innovative studio atmosphere.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Instruct students in handbuilding and wheel throwing methodologies
  • Offer personalized and group learning sessions
  • Work collaboratively with fellow Art School educators and administrative staff
  • Develop and implement 10-week course structures
  • Ensure the studio is maintained in a clean and organized manner
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish or English and Mandarin
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching ceramic arts
  • Active involvement as a ceramics artist with ties to the local ceramic arts community
  • Associate degree is mandatory; BA/BS/BFA is preferred
