Job Summary:

As a Laborer - Ready Mix (Tulsa, OK) - Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and general cleanup tasks at the batch plant. You will also assist drivers with additional products and ensure the overall appearance of the plant is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate front-end loader, bobcat, and backhoe as needed.
  • Assist with batch plant startup and shutdown at the start and end of the day.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure the batch plant runs efficiently.
  • Document all required plant inspections.
  • Perform and document weekly bag house checks and maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Assist drivers as needed.
  • Procure supplies and parts for the plant or drivers.
  • Perform lawn maintenance when necessary.
  • Attend work regularly and be reliable.
Requirements:

Experience/Education/Skill:
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment.
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to perform heavy labor.
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required.
  • Ability to work at other locations as needed.
  • Good safety and driving records.
  • Ability to work near, around, or on light or heavy equipment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift objects repeatedly of various dimensions and up to 100lbs.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly.
  • Ability to balance, bend, crawl, kneel, push, and pull objects repeatedly.
  • Ability to work in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Ability to reach, squat, and tolerate prolonged standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces repeatedly.
