Job Description:

The Residential AV technician will be responsible for all aspects of installing high-end residential electronics and automation systems at the client's job site. This includes installation, set-up, testing, programming, and servicing. The technician will also run, terminate, and test low voltage wiring in new and existing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of electronic components and automation systems
  • Mounting of TVs, projectors, and projector screens
  • Cutting in and installation of in-ceiling and in-wall architectural speakers and in-wall touch screens
  • Work safely on ladders and scaffolding
  • Low voltage pre-wiring of new construction homes and retro-fit wiring
  • Knowledge of low-voltage cabling and termination standards
  • Reading of plans and wiring diagrams
  • Understanding of signal flow and troubleshooting skills

Requirements:

  • An eagerness to learn and work hard as part of a growing team is required.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently, and be accountable for work quality
  • Ability to work well with others, have a customer service-oriented mindset, and strong work ethic
  • We require a clean driving record, background check, and drug test
  • Candidates must have reliable transportation, basic tools for working with low voltage equipment

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
