Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding and adhering to state practice acts and regulations governing physical therapy practice and supervision.
  • Completing and maintaining all required corporate and clinical training while ensuring compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
  • Evaluating, treating, and directing treatment for patients requiring physical therapy, documenting the medical necessity clearly.
  • Maintaining respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
  • Participating in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited physical therapy program.
  • Valid State Physical Therapy License is required.
  • CPR certification is mandatory.
