We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Med Center Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general radiology procedures and ensuring patient safety protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a range of general radiology imaging procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Carry out patient safety protocols, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
- Assist patients as needed, taking into account their age and individual needs.
- Maintain high-quality images by reviewing and sending them to the PACS system in a timely manner.
- Utilize and care for equipment according to established guidelines, reporting any mechanical malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive imaging services.
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program of study.
- State of Kentucky Radiation Operator Certification (ROC) or eligibility for registration with the ARRT (ARRT-R).
Please note that candidates certified by the State of Kentucky prior to 1978 may be considered grandfathered into the profession and may not require registration with the ARRT.
