Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and developing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position with a 36-hour workweek, requiring 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of procedures, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
  • Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
  • Perform timely and accurate documentation
  • Promote continuous quality improvement
  • Teach and counsel patients/families
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
