Forensic Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Therapist to join our team at Team Builder Recruiting. As an Outpatient Forensic Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping individuals address and overcome complex behavioral and psychological challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Employ evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to address underlying factors contributing to problematic behaviors
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the unique needs of each client
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with clients - adolescents and adults
- Collaborate with probation officers, legal professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and compliance with legal mandates
- Provide education and support to clients' families, helping them understand the therapeutic process and ways they can contribute to the client's recovery
- Grow professionally via continuing education opportunities and collaboration with colleagues
- Master's or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Licensed or license-eligible in Pennsylvania (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Specialized training or certification in sex offender treatment, domestic violence intervention, or forensic therapy preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals who struggle with sexual behavior issues, domestic violence, and mental health challenges
- Strong knowledge of ethical considerations, risk management, relapse prevention, and mental health treatment approaches
- Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries in complex therapeutic environments
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical supervision
- Competitive pay: Up to $70,000 per year, depending on experience and licensure
