Kids Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Kids Instructor to join our team at Life Time Fitness. As a Kids Instructor, you will be responsible for providing best-in-class educational and fitness-minded programming for children aged three months to 11 years in our Kids Academy.

• Develop and implement engaging and safe activities for children, promoting their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepare and set up for classes, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for children and parents.
• Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development, and incidents.
• Monitor and interact with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members to ensure a positive experience for all.
• Promote all Junior programming to increase participation in Kids & Aquatics programming.
• Maintain the Kids Academy and other program areas, adhering to cleaning checklists and performing assigned tasks.
• Handle incidents and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.

• Less than a High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work.
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.

• 6+ months of teaching children in similar programs or activities.
• Ability to engage a group of children in an activity.
• Customer service and strong communication skills.

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.75 and paying up to $22.25, based on experience and qualifications.
