We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QE Automation Engineer with mobile testing expertise to join our team at Synechron. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing high-quality test scenarios and automated scripts using the latest automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality test scenarios and automated scripts using Maven, TestNG, ExtentReport, Selenium, Appium, Android Studio, Protractor, WebdriverIO, and custom scripts.
  • Perform functional testing, including application, system, API integration, and acceptance testing.
  • Conduct non-functional testing, such as performance, volume, load, and fallback testing.
  • Mentor and guide QA team members in growing their skillsets and performing functional testing, non-functional testing, and other testing activities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and software development teams during the Planning, Design, Development, and Test phases of a project.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a QE Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with test methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, and functional testing.
  • Good understanding of programming languages, including Java, Groovy, and JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience in automation tools and frameworks, including Maven, TestNG, ExtentReport, Selenium, Appium, Android Studio, Protractor, WebdriverIO.
  • Extensive experience in mobile testing, including native app and mobile browser testing.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment, including GitLab and GitHub.
  • Experience in agile tools, including Jira and VersionOne.
  • Experience with API integration and test automation, including Rest-Assured, Apache, Karate, Postman, SOAP UI, MuleSoft, and apigee.
  • Implementation experience in BDD frameworks, including Cucumber and Gherkin.
  • Experience with cloud solutions tools, including Sauce Labs.
  • Experience with SQL and JDBC connectivity.
  • Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical teams, business teams, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead a team of onshore/offshore test engineers with minimal supervision.
