**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our winter operations team at Echo Mountain Ski and Event Center, LLC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in diesel technology and experience working with snowcat and groomer equipment.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair, and maintain all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Participate in and lead safe and reliable summer and winter maintenance programs
  • Maintain good working relationships with co-workers and communicate effectively with management and supervisors
  • Assist with operations in other departments as needed

**Requirements:**

  • Associate's degree in Diesel Technology or completion of a traineeship, or apprenticeship – Required
  • Diesel Mechanic Certification – Preferred
  • Previous experience in ski area operations or maintenance - Preferred
  • At least 4+ Years Experience as a Diesel Mechanic - Required

**Salary:** The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
