Role Overview

">

We're seeking an analytical chemist to join our R&D team. This role will involve performing analytical analysis via instrumentation, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with researchers to drive product development and scientific discovery.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Analyzing Samples and Documenting Results: Conduct thorough analysis of samples, documenting findings accurately and efficiently.
  • Method Development and Validation: Develop and validate new analytical methods to ensure accurate results.
  • Instrumentation Calibration and Standard Daily Analysis: Regularly calibrate and perform standard daily analysis on laboratory equipment.
  • IQPQOQ of New Equipment: Perform thorough quality checks on new equipment before use.
  • Standard Operating Procedures Adherence: Ensure adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Work Instructions, and Standard Analytical Methods.
  • Good Laboratory Practices: Follow Good Laboratory Practices, Safety protocols, and chemical hygiene plans at all times.
  • Collaboration with R&D Chemists: Work closely with R&D chemists to facilitate product development and scientific discovery.
  • Maintenance of Lab Notebook: Maintain accurate and up-to-date lab notebooks and supporting documentation.

Requirements and Qualifications

This role requires:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry: Possess a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 Years Experience: Have at least 5 years of experience in instrumentation, calibration, and method validation, with emphasis on HPLC and GC.
  • Instrumentation Knowledge: Be able to set up and troubleshoot instrumentation from unboxing.
  • Supervisory Experience: Possess supervisory experience, with ability to lead laboratory technicians and facilitate training.

Estimated Annual Salary: $80,000 - $110,000+
