Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Diverse Lynx, a leading healthcare staffing agency based in Princeton, NJ.

About the Role:

As an LVN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting, working under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing patient care activities, considering age-related needs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop individualized plans of care.
  • Assisting medical personnel with special procedures, minor surgical procedures, and diagnostic exams.
  • Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions, reporting unusual findings to the physician and/or RN, and contributing recommendations for revision to the plan of care.
  • Preparing and administering medications as directed by physician order, following established protocols.
  • Maintaining a clean, neat, and safe working environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment after each procedure.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current LVN license in the state of California.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
  • At least one year of recent relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Fluency in English (writing, speaking, comprehension).
