**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at LHC Group. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Evaluate patients' functional status and physical therapy needs, assisting physicians in developing therapy plans of care.
  • Observe and report patients' responses to treatment and any changes in their condition to supervising nurses and/or physicians.
  • Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and/or maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice.
  • Instruct and inform participating members of the healthcare team, patients, and family/caregivers regarding plans of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.

**Requirements:**

  • Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, with access to a dependable vehicle.
