Job Overview

As an Armed Cash Transport Specialist, you will work with your team to ensure the safe and secure pickup and delivery of cash, coin, and valuables. Responsibilities

• 
  
• Drive armored vehicles on designated routes servicing customer locations, ensuring timely and secure delivery of cash and valuables.
  
• Service ATMs and Smart Safes, requiring attention to detail and a thorough understanding of security protocols.
  
• Service customer stops, including delivering customer change orders and picking up deposits, building strong relationships with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.
  
• Load and unload vehicle cargo, including multiple bags and boxes of coins, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
  
• Count items, record, and sign for cargo items, maintaining accurate records and ensuring the integrity of the cash management process.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  

Requirements

• 
  
• At least 21 years of age, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  
• Ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate via US Department of Transportation approved medical examiners, ensuring the safety and well-being of yourself and others.
  
• A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

Estimated Salary

Based on industry standards and market rates, the estimated salary for this role is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary based on individual circumstances.

Working Conditions

As an Armed Cash Transport Specialist, you can expect to work a full-time schedule, potentially consisting of an average of 40 to 50 hours per week, with occasional weekend work. Approximately 90-95% of your work will be performed in an air-conditioned vehicle within individual compartments (front and rear).

Essential Duties/Job Qualifications

As part of the qualification process for the Armed Cash Transport Specialist position, a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required. This evaluation assesses your ability to perform essential duties, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling, as well as climbing and repetitive coupling tasks.
