Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonography Technologist to join our team at UCHealth (Colorado). As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing echocardiography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures on patients, differentiating normal and abnormal structures.
  • Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure patient understanding and cooperation.
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
  • Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
