In-Shape Solutions is seeking a skilled Club Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our club facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our members.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct daily walk-throughs of the facility to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning properly.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe environment by implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the General Manager and other team members to prioritize and coordinate maintenance and repair tasks, and provide regular updates on progress and any issues that may arise.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fitness equipment, plumbing, electrical, pool, steam, sauna, and mechanical systems, as well as cosmetic repairs such as drywall, texture, paint, tile, and grout.
- Project Management: Support capital repair and improvement projects, working with the Director of Facilities, Construction Team, and Area Facilities Manager to ensure timely and effective completion.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities, using our computerized maintenance management system.
- Experience and Skills: Possess knowledge and experience in managing and repairing mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as trade work, fitness equipment, or CPO training.
- Work Environment: Be available for overtime and after-hours work, and maintain suitable transportation.
- Personal Qualities: Be organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Education and Certifications: Possess basic computer proficiency, and have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly MS Outlook and Word.
