Position Overview:

PHI Air Medical operates under CAMTS guidelines.

Aircraft: BH407 VFR/NVG (Instrument rating required)

Operational Hours: 24/7 (day/night rotation)

Transition Requirements: If the successful candidate requires aircraft transition, a minimum service requirement of 1 year applies per CBA.

Relocation Package: Available, with a 2-year minimum service requirement if utilized per CBA.

Housing: Not provided.

Additional Compensation: +12.5% Location Bonus

Other Information:

External searches may run concurrently with internal job postings. The successful candidate will engage in community outreach initiatives and comply with PHI Air Medical policies. Some physical lifting will be necessary to assist in loading and unloading patients and equipment.

Safety Commitment: Support the Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other company safety initiatives. Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service.

Qualifications:

- Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings

- First Class Medical Certification

- CAMTS Requirements: 2,000 Total Flight Hours, 1,500 Helicopter Hours, 1,000 PIC Helicopter Hours, 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours, 100 Unaided Night Operations Hours or 50 Unaided and 100 NVG Hours

- Helicopter candidates must meet a weight limit of 250 pounds for single and twin-engine helicopters.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Successful interview and acceptance by PHI management.

- Must pass a pre-placement physical exam, including a functional capacity assessment (ability to lift 100 pounds for patient and equipment handling), drug screening, and background check.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule:

7/7 rotation, with potential schedule changes. Candidates must reside within a 1-hour commute from the base.
