- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, using technical manuals and work orders as necessary.
- Install and repair electrical equipment, including circuit breakers and fuses.
- Maintain and repair facility plumbing and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including fork trucks and overhead cranes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including participating in team-based projects and initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, work orders, and safety procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
The Maintenance Technician III will work in a fast-paced production environment, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and extreme temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
