Job Summary:

Matco Tools is seeking a skilled Warranty Returns Processor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our hand tool warranty returns process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile hand tool warranty returns from our distributor network
• Identify tools by item number and match items to packing lists created by the distributor
• Sort failed tools for common failures for quality purposes
• Open parcel packages and transfer items to sorting bins
• Issue or deny credit to distributors by coding warranty claims in our computer system
• Pack and ship items denied credit back to distributors
• Sort like items for return to our supply base
• Move items to quarantine areas and help load onto trucks for transport to scrap facilities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer skills, including Windows-based operating systems and general typing
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Flexibility regarding shift hours and responsibilities
• Ability to identify trends and patterns in tool failures
