Job Title: Painter

Rising Star Resource Development Corporation is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for painting the interior and exterior of structures, buildings, and other surfaces. Your work will have a significant impact on the aesthetic and functional value of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and instructions to determine the scope of work
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and removing old paint
  • Mix and apply paint and other materials to achieve the desired color and finish
  • Apply varnish and other finishes to protect and enhance the surface
  • Calculate costs and negotiate prices with clients and employers
  • Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
  • Update job knowledge and maintain records of work completed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Painter
  • Excellent knowledge of painting materials and techniques
  • Solid knowledge of commercial and construction painting methods
  • Aptitude in using various tools and equipment
  • Good basic math skills
  • Manual dexterity and physical ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in painting
  • Industry certifications or valid license to practice profession

Compensation:

$20/hour for the position, with no tools provided. Supplies outside of paint are not included.
