We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Des Plaines, Illinois.
Job Summary:This is a 13-week travel Physical Therapist position with a 40-hour workweek, 8-hour shifts, and a competitive pay package.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and develop plans of care for various patient populations in the acute care setting.
- Oversee supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff.
- Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines.
- Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
- Understand and comply with respective Physical Therapy board's rules and regulations.
- Modify plans of care as indicated based on patient condition.
- Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
- 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
- BLS and state-specific licensing.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
