Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at Highgate. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items for our guests, while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all food items according to standardized recipes and hotel standards.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of food and equipment.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Assist with banquet food preparation and service as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Culinary experience required.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift and withstand temperature variations.
  • Knowledge of herbs and spices and proper use of each.
