Catheterization Laboratory Technician

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a highly skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technician to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Orange, California.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and assisting with procedures in the catheterization laboratory. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced technician to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to ensure optimal patient care.
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation to ensure patient safety.
- Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure depending on unit to ensure optimal patient care.
- Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required to ensure patient care is always available.
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Transports patients as needed to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
- Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the catheterization laboratory.
Requirements:
- One to three years of experience as a Catheterization Laboratory Technician preferred.
- Other certifications may be required for this position.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential for this role.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
- PC skills are necessary for this position.
