Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to a variety of patients with multiple co-morbidities, including specialized care for stroke patients.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6.
  • Monitor patients remotely using telemetry equipment and perform on-unit monitoring as needed.
  • Administer feeding tubes, manage ports, and perform blood product administration.
  • Provide care for patients with central lines, peripheral lines, and PICC lines.
  • Start IVs and manage patient isolation precautions.
  • Participate in wound care and wound vac management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring and remote monitoring.
  • Ability to work in a variety of patient care settings, including inpatient and telemetry units.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Government-issued photo ID required.
