Dialysis Nurse Specialist

As a Dialysis Nurse Specialist with Wellspring Nurse Source, you will provide high-quality care to patients with acute or chronic kidney disease who require hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis treatment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to manage and monitor patients undergoing dialysis, ensuring optimal care and outcomes in an inpatient setting.
Your key responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients undergoing hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis in an inpatient setting. You will monitor patients' vital signs, laboratory results, and dialysis-related parameters, ensuring optimal fluid and electrolyte balance.
You will administer dialysis treatments, ensuring equipment is properly set up and functioning, and addressing any complications that arise during dialysis. You will also educate patients on dialysis treatments, including the procedure, expected outcomes, and self-care post-treatment.
The salary package for this role is estimated at $2,541 per week, based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week.
