About the Role:
The Security Officer will support the health system's efforts to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, employees, students, and visitors. This includes assisting individuals in understanding and utilizing Hospital facilities, providing a first response to emergency situations, and coordinating with external emergency management, law enforcement, and fire agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Security Staff and report to the Security Supervisor
- Support the health system's efforts to create and maintain a safe and secure environment
- Assist individuals in understanding and utilizing Hospital facilities
- Provide a first response to emergency situations
- Coordinate with external emergency management, law enforcement, and fire agencies
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
- Current Valid Driver's License
- BLS Certification
- Excellent Communications and Interpersonal Skills
- Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to prepare and give presentations
