Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at The Moorings Park Institute Incorporated. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality resident care and support in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will work closely with our occupational therapists to deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to residents, promoting their independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • You will be responsible for carrying out treatment plans, providing direct resident care, and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to residents, including treatments, assessments, and progress reports.
  • Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless resident care and support.
  • Participate in staff meetings, in-service education, and other training programs to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Certificate of registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Current Florida license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
