A2Sponge Operator

This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sponge operation at Rogers Corporation. The successful candidate will take direction from the department supervisor on a daily basis to ensure the efficient production of sponge sheets.

• Setup, operate, and troubleshoot sponge manufacturing equipment to guarantee the safe and efficient production of sponge sheets.
• Perform visual inspections and property testing on sponge sheets in accordance with quality control procedures to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement continuous improvements, work instructions, and six sigma projects as needed to enhance productivity and quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• A mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes are essential for success in this role.
