Responsibilities
+ Execute civil engineering tasks related to water and wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance systems, concentrating on site design elements such as site layout, yard piping, roadways, paving, grading, and stormwater management.
+ Engage in engineering planning and design projects, including conceptual and preliminary design activities, site visits, overseeing fieldwork, alternatives analysis, and report generation.
+ Create detailed plans and specifications.
+ Develop cost estimates for various water and wastewater initiatives.
+ Conduct hydraulic modeling.
+ Manage permitting processes and alternatives analysis.
+ Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.
+ Provide engineering support during construction phases.
+ Participate in field activities and site assessments.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
+ 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
+ Professional Engineer registration.
+ Proficient application of engineering principles, including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Strong capability to communicate with clients and project teams.
+ Highly motivated, articulate, and self-driven.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
+ Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for engineering drawing development.
