Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and our team consists of proficient technologists and supportive radiology assistants.As we expand our services to include cardiac MRI, we are looking for an experienced professional to enhance our capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Uphold and practice safety protocols specific to MRI procedures.
- Maintain proficiency in all imaging exams and associated equipment.
- Conduct procedures for the review, processing, and archival of imaging data.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and compliance with universal safety protocols.
- Review patient medical histories and evaluate physician orders in accordance with departmental guidelines.
- Accurately document patient histories in the electronic health record system.
- Engage with patients and colleagues in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care outcomes.
- Clearly communicate instructions to patients to alleviate concerns.
- Ensure precise coding of imaging exams and maintain thorough documentation.
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
- MR registry must be obtained within 18 months of employment.
- Current CPR or BLS certification in line with AHA standards is required.
- Additional certifications such as ARRT, NMTC, or ARDMS are advantageous.
- Familiarity with relevant Acts and FBI Clearance is preferred.
