Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold and practice safety protocols specific to MRI procedures.
  • Maintain proficiency in all imaging exams and associated equipment.
  • Conduct procedures for the review, processing, and archival of imaging data.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and compliance with universal safety protocols.
  • Review patient medical histories and evaluate physician orders in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Accurately document patient histories in the electronic health record system.
  • Engage with patients and colleagues in a compassionate and respectful manner.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care outcomes.
  • Clearly communicate instructions to patients to alleviate concerns.
  • Ensure precise coding of imaging exams and maintain thorough documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
  • MR registry must be obtained within 18 months of employment.
  • Current CPR or BLS certification in line with AHA standards is required.
  • Additional certifications such as ARRT, NMTC, or ARDMS are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with relevant Acts and FBI Clearance is preferred.
