About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Northern Rivers Family of Services. In this dynamic role, you will provide essential support and services to children and families in their communities, helping them overcome emotional and mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with family members to identify goals and objectives for treatment, ensuring a family-driven care approach that respects their voice and choice.
Deliver services based on individual needs as identified in the Treatment Plan, promoting empowerment and skill-building among family members.
Coordinate service scheduling and provision with the child and caregiver, ensuring seamless delivery of support.
Participate in relevant treatment meetings and attend required trainings to stay up-to-date with best practices.
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of experience, or Master's degree in Social Work, counseling, or a related human service field with one year of experience.
Valid New York State Driver's License is required.
