Position Overview

PeaceHealth is in search of a dedicated Psychiatrist to fulfill a role within the Hospital Consult Liaison framework, primarily serving the Eugene/Springfield, OR area. This position operates on a Relief (Per Diem) basis, providing support as necessary.

PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend stands as a premier tertiary care facility nestled in the scenic Willamette Valley of Oregon. The architects behind Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend have pioneered evidence-based hospital design, establishing a patient-focused, healing atmosphere that prioritizes patient safety and clinical excellence. The facility features 386 private patient rooms, thoughtfully designed to enhance access to the breathtaking views of the McKenzie River, surrounding groves, hills, and gardens.

The introduction of a psychiatrist dedicated to the Consult Service at Riverbend will guarantee that patient care requirements are met within a 24-hour timeframe following a consult request. This initiative will also facilitate improved management of complex discharge scenarios.
