Job Title: Intake CoordinatorOverview
The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers provide a supportive environment for individuals seeking to overcome social and spiritual challenges. As an Intake Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining a quality intake system, working cooperatively with Program staff to ensure a smooth and effective process.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a network of outside referral sources to arrange for the referral of applicants to The Salvation Army ARC program.
- Interview, assess, and process necessary paperwork for applicants, striving to maintain a full capacity at all times.
- Provide a positive and appealing first impression of the ARC program, maintaining a waiting list of potential applicants.
- Assist potential applicants with the completion of all required forms and provide resources for other suitable services.
- Ensure the house tracking system is maintained and updated at least weekly, including changes to counseling assignments, bed assignments, and work therapy assignments.
- Assist counselor and other senior program staff in crisis intervention as needed.
- Meet with supervisor for supervision and evaluation, ensuring weekly gratuity reports are updated and forwarded to the finance office.
- Complete or compile all beneficiary time cards/sheets each week, as directed by Administrator(s).
- Coordinate with outside groups to bring speakers and information that model Christian values of recovery and have an active commitment to substance-free living.
- Record statistical information as related to your area of responsibility, submitting to Administrator(s) within three business days following the end of the month.
- Operate compliance screening for prohibited substances equipment, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all test results.
- Attend weekly staff meetings and all meetings as requested by the Administrator(s), presenting resident cases as needed.
- Attend retreats, conferences, and other Salvation Army events as scheduled and assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field preferred.
- CADC or comparative residential and rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
