JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborates with teams on designated projects.
  • Assesses process design initiatives, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all processes involved in product, substance, or service production.
  • Designs processes and equipment that are cost-effective and align with budgetary constraints for product or service development and commercialization.
  • Analyzes existing processes, recommends improvements, and configures manufacturing systems to lower costs, enhance sustainability, increase productivity, quality, and profitability, while establishing best practices within production.
  • Implements methods and process designs, develops prototypes, conducts tests, and makes necessary adjustments as required.
  • Evaluates system tests for efficiency and accuracy until a quality and cost-effective production process is successfully established.
  • Coordinates with other professionals, including scientists and engineers, on development and research initiatives.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred: Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in process or manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, whether locally, nationally, or internationally.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
  • Excellent analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning.
  • Solid grasp and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as with internal and external clients.
  • Capable of working autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to influence peers and management effectively.
  • Self-motivated with keen attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
PHYSICAL ASPECTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
