About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst II to join our Pet Sales and Trade Marketing team at Post Consumer Brands. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial analysis and insights to support business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and assess monthly financial results for individual brands and customer channels.
  • Provide implications of business trends, highlight key areas of opportunity, and make recommendations to improve financial performance of business activity where needed.
  • Provide trade and pricing support within specific selling channels to maximize long-term value.
  • Analyze trade performance and return on investment for designated customers/events.
  • Support Marketing by creating P&Ls for new products, including gathering and validating cost inputs, analyzing competitive pricing, and presenting alternative price/size/cost scenarios.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization to provide meaningful and timely insights and guidance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • At least two years of job experience in a role where analytical skills were applied.
  • Experience managing and building P&Ls, building budgets, and analyzing investments in a previous role.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think critically, draw conclusions from information, and develop recommendations.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate, communicate, and influence across multiple functions in the organization.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and affinity for numbers.
