We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at DAVITA. As a renal therapy specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease.
About the RoleThis position is for an Acute (Inpatient) Dialysis Nurse who will provide specialty nephrology care within various settings, including ICUs, CCUs, and EDs. You will work closely with healthcare teams to deliver lifesaving care during regularly scheduled shifts and on-call rotations.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care through hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis treatments
- Collaborate with PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring vital signs, and machine setup
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet unique patient needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state of practice
- An Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Previous experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg settings is a plus, but not required
- Certification in Nephrology or Dialysis is highly valued
