Chief Software Architect

The Stratagem Group is seeking a highly skilled Chief Software Architect to join our team in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge software development projects that support the US defense and intelligence community. As a Chief Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust and scalable software applications using modern programming languages and technologies.

• Develop software architectures that meet the requirements of our critical programs working with the US Government.
• Collaborate with radar/electro-optical and research scientist experts to solve complex issues and improve image product quality.
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using agile methodologies.
• Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle, including planning, requirements development, software design, implementation and build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• A current/active TS clearance is required for this position.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, including agile.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment.

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with automated test and verification software and tools.
• Knowledge of radar or electro-optical fields.

Our office is situated in a professional setting, and we offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
