Job Summary

Bunge North America is seeking a skilled Grain Elevator Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our grain elevator, ensuring the highest quality products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor grain handling equipment, including grain dryers, grain control rooms, bin sweeps, and locomotives.
  • Assist in the loading, unloading, and transferring of grain and grain products for truck, barge, and rail.
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including fabrication and welding.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety programs and environmental regulations.
  • Accurately record all applicable documentation and perform grain receiving, weighing, and grading duties.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in grain handling or a related field.
  • Agricultural experience preferred.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a safety-conscious environment.
  • Ability to work in a highly quality-controlled environment.
