We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Assistant to join our team at Home Helpers.

As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients in their homes. This role requires a strong ability to build trust and rapport with clients and their families, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have a warm and caring demeanor, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

This position is available in the San Francisco Bay Area, including Pinole, Berkeley, Albany, San Pablo, El Cerrito, Richmond, Rodeo, and Oakland.

About the Role:

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a minimum of 30 hours per week. You will work closely with our care coordinators and other team members to ensure seamless delivery of care services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing meals and snacks for clients
  • Assisting with light housekeeping tasks
  • Accompanying clients on errands and outings
  • Providing companionship and emotional support

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and a background in healthcare or social services. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent time management skills.
