Responsibilities
  • Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment, ensuring proper function and maintenance.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and immobilization.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT.
  • Licensure in the state of New Mexico.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital or medical imaging setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CT scanning principles and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm. There will be one week of call every six weeks, and a 36-hour guarantee.
