- Screen and evaluate patients to determine the need for intervention, utilizing expert knowledge and skills.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, incorporating goal setting and regular progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with patients, family members, significant others, and the care team to deliver holistic audiology services.
- Analyze patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
- Promote patient safety by adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Diligently document assessment results, treatment, and follow-up outcomes to maintain accurate records.
- Review and analyze the quality and appropriateness of audiology services delivered, reporting issues to supervisors as needed.
- Familiarize yourself with billing and reimbursement procedures according to governmental and third-party requirements.
- Report any concerns regarding compliance to mentors, department staff, or administrative personnel.
- Employ a family-centered approach, considering patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to their age.
- Demonstrate responsible management of human, fiscal, and material resources.
- Currently enrolled as a 4th-year student in an accredited audiology program.
- Must read, write, speak, and comprehend English fluently.
- Must be able to communicate effectively (written and orally) with people from diverse backgrounds.
Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum
