About the Role:

We are looking for a Radiologic Technologist with a strong background in radiologic technology and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Explain procedures to patients and their families, ensuring they understand the process and any necessary preparations.
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate anatomical imaging.
  • Perform complex radiographic procedures, taking into account age-related factors and developmental considerations.
  • Verify physician orders and exam requisitions, using time-out procedures to ensure accuracy.
  • Adjust technique parameters to optimize image quality, considering age-related factors.
  • Assist radiologists with complex and invasive procedures, using aseptic technique to maintain patient safety.
  • Exchange and maintain film badges within designated time frames.
  • Process and manipulate images, analyzing quality, troubleshooting, and making necessary adjustments or repeating procedures as needed.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
  • 1-2 years of hospital experience, with a preference for radiologic technologist experience.
  • Current certification in radiologic technology, such as CMRT or ARRT.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, maintained quarterly.
