Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Server Associate to join our team at Bridge at Hickory Woods. As a Server Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Server Duties:
    • Train and guide new Server Associates to ensure they meet our high standards of service.
    • Assist with meal counts and tickets to ensure seamless service.
  • Server Duties:
    • Assist with dining room setup and ensure that all servers are prepared for service.
    • Participate in pre-meal menu review meetings to stay informed about menu offerings.
    • Perform duties at assigned stations, including beverage service and salad bar management.
    • Ensure completion of assigned cleaning and prep work duties to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
    • Greet residents and guests in a welcoming and courteous manner.
    • Assist residents with food selection and ensure timely beverage refills.
    • Serve meals using trays and ensure that all residents receive their meals in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Strip and reset tables as needed during serving times.
    • Remove dishes and deliver them to the dishwashing area.
    • Remove soiled linens and place them in designated laundry areas.
    • Prepare tables for the next meal by cleaning and resetting them.
    • Remove trash and maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Demonstrate a passion for serving seniors and providing exceptional customer service.
    • Maintain positive resident and guest relations through a courteous, cooperative, and understanding manner.
    • Demonstrate trustworthiness and dependability in all interactions.
    • Reasonably accommodate resident preferences in dining services.
    • Work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
    • Be able to receive and resolve complaints in a gracious and professional manner.
    • Always be in proper attire and well-groomed.
    • Attend company-appointed ServSafe training.
    • Display integrity and professionalism by adhering to our Code of Ethics and completing all required compliance training.
