Position Overview
As a Senior Clinic RN specializing in Cardiology, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care under the guidance of the department Supervisor or Manager. Your role will involve planning, directing, and delivering comprehensive nursing services in alignment with state regulations and clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
- Implementing the nursing process to ensure effective patient care and leadership.
- Participating actively in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
- Adhering to compliance guidelines and state regulations.
- Delivering specialized care within your designated department, utilizing critical thinking and clinical expertise.
Qualifications Required
- Degree in Nursing (Baccalaureate, Associate, or Diploma) from an accredited institution.
- Current Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- A minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience in an inpatient or specialty care environment.
- 3 years of recent experience in a specialty or acute care setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Training in equipment utilized within the specialty department.
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques for equipment and instruments.
- Certification in specialty nursing (e.g., CCRN, CNOR, CGRN) upon hire.
