Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accounting Intern to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a Financial Accounting Intern, you will assist in the monthly accounting close process, including accounting entries and reconciliations for acquisitions related accounts. You will also assist in purchase accounting for acquired and divested entities, collect and document prepared by client (PBC) records for the annual IFRS audit, and research accounting standards to answer technical accounting queries.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the monthly accounting close process, including accounting entries and reconciliations for acquisitions related accounts.
  • Assist in purchase accounting for acquired and divested entities.
  • Collect and document prepared by client (PBC) records for the annual IFRS audit.
  • Research accounting standards to answer technical accounting queries.

Requirements:

  • Rising Junior or above majoring in Accounting.
  • Ability to work independently and possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
