Aircraft Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at REACH Medical Holdings. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of aircraft.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that all necessary parts and equipment are available for maintenance and repairs.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including service records and FAA compliance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance efforts.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as an FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) technician.
  • 3 years of experience working with turbine-powered helicopters.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and aircraft maintenance systems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working under CFR Parts 133, 135, and 145.
  • Avionics troubleshooting and electrical repair experience.
  • AS350 experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely perform work on scaffolding or ladders.
  • Ability to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces for varying time durations.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 150 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools and make adjustments and repairs.
